Edwardian – these have a flat front and a rectangular shape
Victorian – these have a bay front, pitched roof and ornate roof ridge
Gable end – although these conservatories have an apex roof, one side is upright and the others are sloped
Lean to – this is the simplest conservatory and lowest in price. It has a flat, angled roof that slopes downwards
P-shaped – these conservatories form a P shape
Tiled roof – these conservatories have a fully tiled roof rather than a glass one

uPVC – this is the most popular frame option for conservatories
Aluminium – these frames are stronger and thinner than uPVC and so let in slightly more light
